Important scope

We provide first aid, welfare support, husbandry guidance, and referral triage for reptiles. Reptiles showing severe breathing issues, collapse, uncontrolled bleeding, or suspected serious disease need urgent veterinary care.

Clinical scope: APES Pet Care Clinic provides first aid, routine welfare support, husbandry guidance, partner-lab supported investigation and diagnosis support for certain illnesses and diseases, and referral triage only. We are not a veterinary surgery and do not prescribe veterinary medicines, perform surgery, carry out invasive procedures, provide sedation, or replace emergency veterinary care. After consultation, we may recommend appropriate over-the-counter alternatives where suitable, and these can sometimes be lower cost.

Shedding aid

£10.00 per reptile.

Support for stubborn retained shed or eye-cap concerns where gentle, non-invasive support is suitable.

External parasite support (mites)

£30.00 per reptile, plus £49.00 per 7 days if short-term admittance is needed.

Fang or mouth concern support (snakes)

£10.00 per fang support review.

For snakes only. The old site listed support for fangs that become dislodged or cause mouth concerns; complex injuries, infection, feeding problems, or invasive procedures need veterinary care.

Respiratory concern support

£15.00 per reptile, plus £49.00 per 7 days if short-term admittance is needed.

The old site listed support for common respiratory concerns at £15.00 per pet, with short-term admittance charged separately. Breathing difficulty, severe illness, or animals needing prescription medicine must be referred to a veterinary surgeon.
